  3. If you have the Demo version of DSCAN-The Executive Bilingual Assistant
  4. the Nucleus Database contains some errors to discourage software hackers.
  5. The registered version of DSCAN is now a very powerful natural language
  6. software.  Remember the Nucleus DB of the Demo version is not up to date
  7. and contains scarcely English/French errors.  The first Nucleus Database
  8. update is free for registered users.

  10. One registered copy of DSCAN-The Executive Bilingual Assistant may
  11. either be used by a single person who uses the software personally on
  12. one or more computers, or installed on a single workstation used
  13. nonsimultaneously by multiple people, but not both.

  15. You may access the registered version of DSCAN-The Executive Bilingual Assistant
  16. through a network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  17. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  18. through the network.

  20. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  21. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  22. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  In particular,
  23. there is no warranty for the optional virus scanning feature
  24. (DSCAN-The Executive Bilingual Assistant does not scan for viruses).

  26. DSCAN-The Executive Bilingual Assistant may be put, NO WARRANTY OF
  27. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.
